The Gaisce Awards
Gaisce is the President’s Award and is Ireland’s very own National Challenge Award. This individual award programme works on the basis of a personal challenge set by you.
You will set the challenge and agree it with a President’s Award leader. Each challenge is completely individual… so the only person you’ll compete with is yourself.
There are three different types of award that you can earn – bronze, silver and gold.
Plan, prepare and undertake a 2 day, 1 night adventure with a group.
Distance: Walking 25 – 30 km or Cycling 100 – 130 km
Cost: €75 p.p.
Plan, prepare and undertake a 3 day, 2 night adventure with a group.
Distance: Walking 50 km – 79 km or Cycling 190 km – 220 km
Cost: €99 p.p.
Plan, prepare and undertake a 4 day, 3 night adventure with a group.
Distance: Walking 80 km – 110 km or Cycling 300 km – 350 km
Cost: €120 p.p.

*Route distances can be altered to your group’s requirements.
You will be accompanied by highly qualified Mór Active Guide on your Adventure Journey. All camping equipment is provided by Mór Active e.g. tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, gas, cooking utensils. Food can also be provided and suited to your groups dietary needs e.g. vegetarians, gluten free products, etc.
